100 List

Starting with my 31st birthday, on August 3, 2012, I am attempting to try 100 new things a year.

These can be small things to life changing ones! These are things are actively seek, and others that are thrust upon me! Here's to every day being a new one!

1. Stayed the night at Sun Coast Hotel, just because we drank too much.

2. Saw Michael Grimm in concert at Green Valley Ranch

3. Went on a "friend date" to meet a new person! Maybe I have a new friend here in Las Vegas1

4. Started the 750 words blog

5. Went to the Fun. concert with Sam at Cosmopolitan

6. Had my car towed! Cost $300!

7. Bought new running shoes and weight gloves with assistance from clerk

8. Discovered the UNLV Library and rented a book

9. Went into a lab where they do DNA testing

10. Hiked Mount Charleston with Nyki. (4 miles)

11. Caught up with Melissa Berger at dinner.

12. Made a smoothie- for the first time ever. Delicious!

13. Heard Justice Scalia speak

14. Was on the radio in my first PIO interview :)

15. Went to Shannon's wedding

16. Decorated a hotel suite for a bride and groom with pornographic items

17. Went to my first "State of the University"

18. Flew on a plane with Mikey

19. Went to a free movie priemere with mom (Trouble with the Curve)

20. Went to Hofbrauhaus with the cordes clan

21. Went to Sky Zone to jump

22. Saw Wicked performance at Smith Center

23. Had a 12-hour date with a really sweet guy

24. Got peed on by a 2-year-old :)

25. Visited the PinBall Hall of Fame

26. Read my first ever e-book on my Kindle

27. Hosted a big family breakfast at my condo

28. Made a presentation to entire school of engineering faculty

29. Went to Bite of Las Vegas

30. Saw Counting Crows

31. Saw Phillip Phillips

32. Made out with a man in a dimly lit piano bar and felt like a sexy grown up. :)

33. Went to Nyki's wedding

34. Met Todd Bridges

35. Stayed at the "D"

36. Had a sleepover with Andrew

37. Went to a male strip club, Olympic Gardens

38. Visited the Whiskey Attic and talked with the owner

39. Stayed at Hooters Hotel with a boy :)

40. Went to UNR/UNLV game as a UNLV employee, but rooted for UNR :)

41. Met all the Sister Wives, promoted event and got my picture with them

42. Brought a boy to my friends house for a party and it went well

43. Ate at my first crab boil

44. Did Nikki Z's hair/makeup for a party

45. Spent Halloween on Fremont Street (with a boy I brought as date :) )

46. Went to the Las Vegas Valley Book Festival

47. Made out with a boy in the cabanas at Green Valley Ranch (a dream of mine since I hit Las Vegas)

48. Sampled the hype from the Slidin Thru Food Truck

49. Voted early and voted for the re-election of Obama. Loud and proud!

50. Went to the Obama victory party!

51. Got food poisoning from chicken bonz and was wiped out for several days.

52. Ran in the color me Rad race!

53. Went to a dinner party at Afsha's house, met new people and ate traditional Pakistani food.

54. Made food for Thanksgiving with family, helped mom set up.

55. Played Bingo with a date:)

56. Went to a Seahawks bar in Vegas, met a pro football player and won some signed memorabilia!

57. Played midway games with a boy who won me several stuffed animals :)

58. For the first time told a guy i couldn't hang out with him because of someone else! agh!

59. Went on a road trip to San Diego with a guy

60. Introduced Chrissy and Nick to a guy I was dating (and they liked him)

61. Had breakfast in San Diego's little Italy

62. Stayed in a hotel in Pacific Beach with a view of the ocean

63. Told a guy how I felt about him and that I wanted to be exclusive. (He did not reciprocate yet, but I am glad I had the courage)

64. Told my mom I was dating someone

65. Talked about relationship priorities with someone I'm dating

66. Had sex with Andrew

67. Participated in a Trivia Night at a Bar

68. Hiked the hill on Buffalo that overlooks Vegas

69. Was asked to be the quasi maid of honor in Sam's 2014 wedding

70. Told a guy how I was feeling and had a serious conversation about what we are doing and where we could go.

71. Wore a guy's jersey to a playoff football game.

72. Went to Laugh Factory with Andrew

73. Tried making eggplant rolls- epic fail

80. Heard the president of the ACLU speak (Susan Herman)

81. Went to the UNR/UNLV basketball game, with andrew mel and steve

84. Watched the Superbowl with Chris and Nyki at a 49ers bar

85. Went to Hispanic Journalists social and photo show

86. Went to DAM film fest with Nyki

87. Spent first Valentines Day on a date with A.S.

88. Went to Clark County museum with mom and dad

89. Visited Mob Museum with mom and dad

90. Was asked to look at a photo of a suspect by police! Whoa!

91. Mentored/mentoring an intern

92. Participating as faculty adviser to the UNLV Solar Decathlon team

93. Visiting the former mansion of Mike Tyson.

94. Shared my true thoughts with a man, got over my fears and spoke from the heart. (Also had an all-out sob fest)

95. Got to hear a man say he could see being in a real relationship with me.

96. Experienced a real authentic dinner in China Town

97. Got to show Amanda around Vegas

98. Visited the UNLV health center and had a pleasant experience

99. Went to the Gonzaga basketball championship with Andrew

100. Went to a UNLV basketball game during my lunch hour

101. Attended Shona's Vegas bachelorette party and hosted girls at my house

102. Went to Asian karaoke

103. Went to Thunder from Down Under!

104. Visited Hoover Dam for first time as adult and while living in Vegas

105. Had fancy (and expensive) sushi at glamourous restauarant on the strip

106. Finally went to Andrew's new house and had a GREAT night! and helped him organize his living room.

107. Visited the Neon Museum

108. Had a day with Andrew where all we did was stay in bed :) Amazing

109. Started a freelance assignment with Stanford University

110. Had Andrew make me dinner :)

111. Saw a placenta as part of research (WHY!)

112. Became a chair of judges panel for Nevada History Day

113. Was introduced to Settlers of Catan board game by Andrew

115. Made a sucessful dinner for Andrew and had dinner by candlelight :)

116. Went to UNLV/UNR/baseball game with Andrew, Mel and Steve

117. Spent Andrew's bday just hanging out at my place. It was perfect :)

142. Told Andrew I am crazy about him and he told me he's crazy about me :)

143. Went to Lake Las Vegas with Andrew, listened to concert, laid in the grass and gazed at the stars, went to an Irish pub.

150. Went on the Empire State Building at Night

151. Saw the 9/11 memorial.

152. Saw the destruction of the Jersey Shore from Hurricane Sandy. Restore the Shore!

153. Stayed at a hostel in NYC (never again!)

154. Had drinks in a Pent house in the upper east side of NYC.

155. Sang in an NYC Karoke bar in Korea Town.

156. Pitched hot sauce and it ran in more than 160 publications!

157. Had a boy take me out for my birthday!
